The Justice League Incarnate , DC ’s multiverse span Justice League , has been pursuing Darkseid across the multiverse , bent on retaliation after the Lord of Apokolips handed them their first defeat . Darkseid himself has been seeking the Great Darkness ; the Justice League Incarnatebelieved Darkseid ’s pursuitwas selfish , but this turn out to be not entirely true — Darkseid wanted to stop it too . In issue four ofJustice League Incarnate , the team locomote to Earth-7 , only for them to fall under the sway of the Great Darkness , forcing Darkseid to kill the Flashpoint Batman . President Superman , the Flash , Captain Carrot and Doctor Multiverse were the only members not to be misdirect . In a preview for issue 5 , they must bump a fashion to free their teammates and miss Earth-7 before the Empty Hand kills them and Darkseid . The issue is written by Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver , illustrate by Andrei Bressan and Jesús Merino , colour by Aloha State - Fi and letter by Tom Napolitano .

While Darkseid struggle for his life against the Empty Hand , the remaining members of the Justice League Incarnate body of work to free their friends fromthe Great Darkness ’ influence .
