If Barry give-up the ghost , or if his memory board was pass over completely , then no one would have any recollection of the original timeline . need this scenario to its extreme , it ’s potential that speedsters and time travelers have been altering the timeline for years , unbeknownst to everyone .
Because Flashpoint eliminated the event that caused Flashpoint to subsist in the first shoes , this reality - change ability is paradox - proof . This is a altogether nightmare scenario for someone like Batman , get laid that there are actually villains who have this mightiness as well . Batman himself had a " flash point - like " event when Booster Gold travel back in sentence to save Bruce Wayne ’s parents as a gift . Of course , Booster Gold is n’t a villainand merely created this alternate timeline out of irresponsible benevolence .
