Carmen
Carmen is a woman that fend behind her man , and that ’s precisely what she does for Parco Delgado . She ’s the woman behind the Spanish Harlem Kings and wife to Parco , making her aware of all the things her husband is creditworthy for . Although she ’s not allow to speak her mind in regards to his business , she still holds his auricle and is none too happy when his X , Alma , shows up in the DMZ and at her door .
Her disfavor of Alma is only fuel because of their past times with Parco ; however , when she finds out she ’s fraught , she occur to sympathize her in a fashion that only another mother can . Viewers learn of her courage in sticking beside Parco even when thing got crude because she saw it as her duty to do so and felt she could make him a better man . When this prove to be something that would not be the case , she was braw enough to let go and enter into the journey of place her child ’s happiness and wellness first before anyone else , especially Parco . Wilson Lin
Leader of Chinatown and one-time acquaintance to Alma before the war , Wilson Lin is a gentleman’s gentleman of ambition and opportunity . Just a young male child in a man ’s body , Skel is the boy that Alma has been desperately searching for . He is the son of Parco and the enforcer of his father ’s threat , so he ’s definitely not a new man that comes fromone of the best familiesin the world . Although fan get a glimpse of a scared 16 - year - sometime in flashbacks , they are pose with a man feared in the DMZ . Skel ’s bravery is in the fact that he ’s able to stand alone even while fighting for his father ’s love and trust .
When his female parent comes look for for him , Skel is forced to expect and acknowledge the humans he ’s become . He ’s brave enough to look inside himself and admit that he does n’t want to be his father , and he wants a normal life with his girlfriend , Tenny .
Odi
Odi is a young boy just trying to survive the DMZ . After the human beings changes and Odi turn a loss his grandfather , he ’s essentially alone and forced to grow up . Although he ’s now the future of a dystopian warfare - ravaged humanity , Odi does n’t allow this to change his heart and character .
When it becomes percipient just how much the world and the DMZ have change masses , Odi ’s sinlessness and intelligent mind are a welcomed repair . He wants to protect those he adores , and this is evident in his bravery to express and detonate a bomb at the edge when he is secern and believes that Zee is in peril . Even though Parco tells him he will be saving Zee ’s life and he wo n’t be harm , he make love that there ’s a opening that he could be hurt , and yet he still decides to run a risk his liveliness for Zee .
Alma/Zee
A mother will do and give whatever she can to protect and care for her child . InDMZ , Alma is a woman on a mission to turn up her Word in a world torn asunder by warfare . With so many mothers in the family ofworst parents of all time , Alma definitely does n’t flow under this class . In her quest to find her son , Alma ( AKA Zee ) accede the DMZ and weathers a power struggle between two sectors guide by Wilson Lin and her ex-wife , Parco Delgado .
Alma ’s mission for her son rick into a brave fight for not only him but also the people of the DMZ who have no voice . She ’s forced to take a stand to take the rein from both Parco and Wilson . Her braveness stanch from her fight to check that that those left behind in the DMZ have a world where they can hold up freely , not run by a heavy hand and rein by fear . devotee can further bask post - apocalyptic shows on Netflix if they desire to see others like Alma fighting for survival and a better mankind .
