Although I would have opt the film not to retrograde elements ofThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier , I still delight it overall . With that in mind , I can accept that the narrative the film ’s author decease for meant that Sam ’s rail line , if included early on in the movie , might have seemed contradictory to his crisis of faith . If Sam had reiterated he is not Steve Rogers but is Captain America before doubting that and needing a pep talk from Bucky , the origin itself would have conflicted with his arc .
