The headliner has come out in some of the most iconic movie and franchises over the eld , and has shown himself unforced to return to various genre roles . He played Han Solo in the former and newStar Warsfilms , and came back as Indiana Jones as recently as 2023 . While he has proven himself unforced to return to these sort of part , I find myself worried that he might already be done at Marvel .

If Ford was intend to be done by with so rapidly again , I do n’t read why it was so crucial to remold the use after William Hurt ’s demise . After the MCU chose not to recast T’Challa following Chadwick Boseman ’s passing , I enter that they would also be loath to reforge Ross . When they did , I assume that this was done because they had a significant and long - terminal figure plan for his character beyond this single film .
This result , especially after add in a principal as big as Ford , is specially perplexing . In addition , Marvel ’s Thunderbolts teamis canonically named after Ross , and it would be strange if he did not appear there . I hope that I ’m wrong , and that Harrison Ford remains in the MCU for many more geezerhood to amount . I want to see him defend alongside the Avengers inAvengers : Secret Warsas Red Hulk , and I desire to see him mend good relationships with his daughter Betty and Mark Ruffalo ’s Hulk . Ross has had a foresighted and interesting path in the MCU , and it would be disappointing ifCaptain America : Brave New Worldwas the last time that we saw the persona . unhappily , I am disturbed that it might be .
