WARNING : Spoilers ahead forJustice League # 67andGreen Lantern # 6
The poor boy ofDC Comicshave a lot on their plate , but recent take ofJustice LeagueandGreen Lanternsuggest that they may have their own variation ofCivil Warbrewing - and it could be much big thanMarvel ’s ever was . The House of Idea ’s famousCivil Warby Mark Millar and Steve McNiven came to a head when the U.S. governance instituted the Superhuman Registration Act to mandatorily baffle and draft superhumans . This break up the superhero biotic community - more than just the Avengers - right down the halfway withIron Man and Captain America on opposing side .
Now , it seems that the DC Universe may be in for a similar engagement . Only this fourth dimension , it ’s forge up to be a battle that ’ll occur on a galactic scale as the heroes of Earth could find themselves facing down the United Planets . The Justice League has faced their fair share of threat , but nothing like what could be coming . And without the Green Lantern Corps to back them up , thing could get ugly .

InJustice League # 67by Brian Michael Bendis and Phil Hester , the United Order , the United Planets ’ fresh sanction peacekeeping military force , aids the Justice League in taking down the Synmar Utopica after his latest attack on the Hall of Justice . But as they take the criminal back into custody , they also try on and take something else : Superman ’s Phantom Zone projector . When Superman immediately refuses , the United Order threatens to take it from him and line up themselves on the receiving end of a massive show of force from the Justice League - promising that the conversation is far from finished .
Meanwhile , inGreen Lantern # 6by Geoffrey Thorne , Marco Santucci , and Tom Raney , Green Lantern Jo Mullein has her own issue with the United Planets . While discussing the Teen Lantern ’s recent action against Sinestro with the United Planets ’ Captain Ameyra Khalan , Jo say the Thanagarian warrior that Earth does n’t really regulate its superhuman citizen , they just lock away the criminals and call it a 24-hour interval . In reception , Khalan say , “ This lackadaisical attitude may be something Thanagar wreak up at the next council quorum . ”
With these two less - than - well-disposed example happening in such quick succession , it ’s clear that the United Planets have an progeny with the way thatthe Justice League is handling thingson Earth . relatively , Earth is young and less in advance than other civilizations in the United Planets , and if they think the Earth is n’t living up to its galactic responsibleness , they just may try and bring it to list themselves . It ’s more than potential that the United Planets could try and buy the farm their own version of the Registration Act but on a worldwide scale .
If that ’s the case , they ’ll doubtless find the Justice League standing in their way . Unlike Marvel’sCivil War , there ’s no interrogative that Earth ’s heroes will brook together , and their willingness to bear against the United Order prove it . or else of each other , they ’ll be facing the combined force-out of the greatest warriors and torpedo in the galax , all without the help ofa full power Green Lantern Corps .
The Justice League are Earth ’s greatest hero and they ’ve saved the entireDC ComicsMultiverse on more than one social function . There ’s no doubt they can advance a galacticCivil Waragainst the United Planets . The actual mystery is whether or not the United Planets are toughened enough to survive theJustice League .
