Placing a chained up Crazy Quilt in an empty room while Red Hood watch on from behind a one - manner mirror , they then release the reanimate Arkham Knight into the elbow room , threatening Crazy Quilt with the zombified partisan so as to get him to squeal on his contacts – much to Jason ’s disgust . The Red Hood makes it clear that he does n’t O.K. of their methods and even threatens to take out the integral program and its director if they do n’t call off the undead approach dog . While the eerie display does result in Task Force Z get the information they desired , Jason Todd is clearly fed up – and understandably farless approving of torment than one Steve Rogers .

Despite his wild past , Red Hood is clearly trying to make a change and torturing villains is n’t going to be a part of it . Meanwhile , when recently put into a similar situation , Captain America allowed the U.S. Agent to effectively torment sinning , the daughter of the Red Skull , all while only waiting in the other room . Both men have racked up a sizable body numeration – Red Hood used to be a unpitying vigilante and Captain America was a wartime hero – but their respective reaction to pretty similar position say a lot about both role .

While he ’s often go out as Bruce Wayne ’s wayward Word , Jason was still trained by the Batman , and no matter how hard he ’s tried to shake up those educational activity over the years , there will always be a part of him that will try and live byBatman ’s   code of purity – one that intelligibly veto torturing prisoners . Meanwhile , Captain America is run across as the Sentinel of Liberty and is the gamey criterion to which many Marvel heroes mensurate themselves . But thanks to his harsh experiences both during war and as an espionage broker , it seems that Steve is uncoerced to cross a few production line for what he considers the greater commodity .

Red Hood and Captain America are two very unlike characters , and each Heron ’ reaction to torture was far dissimilar than many lover may have expected . But when look at the context of both Jason and Steve ’s backgrounds , as well as the newfangled identities they ’ve mould , it constitute entire sense for them to respond the mode they did . But just because Steve ’s reaction was n’t surprising does n’t have in mind it was satisfactory . After all , if evenRed Hood - DC Comics ’ resident Bat - Family bad son – wo n’t appropriate straining , then neither shouldCaptain America .
