However , it seems as though Billy ’s charge is easier say than done inShazam ! # 2from Tim Sheridan and Clayton Henry , as he and Dane soon confront more than their average share of monster in Hell ( go figure ) . However , this also creates a rather funny and disclose view that connects Billy toKurt Wagner ’s Nightcrawlerin the weirdest mode . While Billy was n’t able to transform into Shazam at first , he eventually get it done while the demons ' back are turned , motivate one demon to ask the other if he smell brimstone ( sulfur ) .
