After their DCEU debut as major rivals , a newfangled preview for DC Comics’Suicide Squadteases a meeting betweenPeacemakerandBloodsportwhich may lead to an intense team - up … or one of their deaths . In late issues , Amanda Waller has gone too far in her attempts to build up a new team of federal agent under her restraint to claim a young reality in the multiverse , no matter of the damage she may do to the current Earth in the process . As a result , her former ally Rick Flag has formed his own Suicide Squad to take her down . While he ’s recently recruited Peacemaker , it look as though Rick needs him to bring Bloodsport into the fold as well .
In previous issues ofSuicide Squad , it was revealed that Robert Dubois ' Bloodsport has been working for Waller as a multiversal spotter , seeking out new worlds while also captivate various metahumans who ’d be ideal for her new team . While this did lead to a run - in withEarth-3 ’s dark Superman known as Ultramanwhere Dubois nearly die , Waller ended up choosing Earth-3 as the world she wants to take over , saving it from its own darkness and corruption . However , it looks as though Rick Flag ’s Squad is lead to try and stop her before that happens .

The Modern preview forSuicide Squad # 11from Robbie Thompson , Dexter Soy , and Eduardo Pansica go through Peacemaker attempting to secure Bloodsport ’s help . Even Dubois can see that Waller is drop away , a fact which Peacemaker hopes to use to convinceBloodsport to bring together him and Flag ’s Squad against her . Combined with the fact that Bloodsport no longer has a turkey in his neck opening , it seems like a no - brainer . However , something else is keeping Bloodsport with Waller , prompting what will no doubt be a brutal do that could even rival their font - off in James Gunn’sThe Suicide Squadfilm , with Idris Elba and John Cena as Bloodsport and Peacemaker severally . While Rick Flag ’s plan to go after Waller apparently hinges on getting Bloodsport on his squad , it attend as though it ’s all up to Peacemaker , who has to win this raw face-off with Dubois . WhileBloodsport pack Peacemaker down in the DCEU , this time the antihero has been able to talk him into something more up close and personal , and it ’s possible Waller ’s recreant team drawing card is about to even up the score . Flag may require Bloodsport either for the tech that allows him to travel the multiverse without being injured , or for his ability to teleport artillery from Waller ’s inventory , but either fashion he involve Peacemaker to act fast . Flag stands the near chance against Waller if he moves sooner rather than subsequently , as the majority of Waller ’s team is still off - world in blank space .
Peacemaker and Bloodsport ’s competition on the big - screen was one of the best case family relationship seen inThe Suicide Squad , so it ’s peculiarly fun to see them finally clash in the comics as well . That being said , here ’s hoping a team - up is in their shared future as opposed to one of them remove the other , whenPeacemakerandBloodshotclashin January 4’sSuicide Squad # 11 .
