Dark Knights of Steelis a circumscribed series write by Tom Taylor with fine art by Yasmine Putri and Arif Prianto that reimagines the DC universe during medieval times . InDark Knights of Steel#3 Zala reenact a brutal string of execution . She begin by annihilating an alternate version of the Metal Men , beat back her bridge player through Gold ’s thorax and making curt work of the others with her heat visual sensation and super strength . Her murder of Gold is actually censored in the last rendering of the comedian , with a sound effect covering Zala ’s deal emerging from his back . However in the preview pages for this scene the sound effect is missing , andZala ’s hand is clearly visible , dripping with blood . Later in the issue , she murders King Jefferson by impaling him with the spar of a ship and this is also cover up with a reasoned effect .
While this censorship may conceal the gory details of Zala ’s violent disorder , it ca n’t conceal the roughshod potency of Kryptonian powers . Superman ’s moral compass generally foreclose him from using the full extent of his abilities in fights but Zala Jor - El is intelligibly not restricted by such honorable constraint . Whether this is mainly due to her personality or the more savage nature of the medieval coif ofDark Knights of Steelis up for debate . However , Prince Kal - El , the alternate translation of Superman , seems to be more restrained than his sister , refusing to shoot down the man who murdered his father . It remains to be seen if his dissimilar plan of attack to dealing with the perpetrator of his Church Father ’s blackwash will put him at odds with his more murderous sis , but it will be interesting to see how he respond to the news show of her military action .

It would be hard to top the level of brutality thatZala Jor - Eldisplays inDark Knights of Steel#3 , however , specially given that her kills in this issue had to be censor .
