Of all the uncivilized crossovers forSupermanover the years , one of his craziest pits the Man of Steel againstAlien’sxenomorphs . Superman vs. Aliens- a joint effort ofDC ComicsandDark Horse Comics- tested the hero ’s spunk against the extraterrestrial menace . However , his " no killing " rule did n’t do him any favor .

Alongside LexCorp , he goes to uncover the mystery of the message - and finds himself engage in struggle with more fearsome enemy than he could ’ve anticipated . Superman vs. Aliens , also roll in the hay asSuperman / Aliens , has the originative team of Dan Jurgens , Kevin Nowlan , Gregory Wright , Android Images , and Bill Oakley . Superman has hurt from killing three Kryptonians in a scoop universe . He reflect upon the experience   before his eventual encounter with the xenomorphs . Despite learning how deadly the puppet are , he still refuses to employ deadly force play , which ultimately has disastrous upshot and could have had even more were it not for thepresence of LexCorp management .

Despite finding a dependency of people ensnare by xenomorphs , Superman continually tries to incapacitate the creatures with his weakening powers . He is far from the Dominicus and the forte of his powers is n’t what it unremarkably is . So not only does he refuse to kill a pestilent foe that wreaks wipeout across the universe , he also does so when he ’s far less capable of promptly eliminating the terror . While his trauma and abstract thought are very legitimate and understandable , xenomorphs are not the sort of unknown that are easy to take down . Superman makes survive harderand even doom others to expiry because of his inability to act lethally when fighting them . Thanks to his failure to destroy the xenomorphs , he becomes infected and is one of only two survivors - and he does n’t do it that the teenage girl he was working with survived . To his noesis , everyone die . He could ’ve prevented many of those deaths had he not hesitated to finish his foe by any means he had .

If the expiry of most of these initial disaster survivor was n’t enough , one xenomorph finish up back at Earth facing Lois . However , Superman is n’t the onewho saves her . Instead , it ’s a projection leader from LexCorp who destroys the threat and effectively saves the day .   Despite the initial plans to attempt to contain and weaponize the xenomorph , like Weyland - Yutani often attempts , this LexCorp employee know the risk is too great and ends its life when the chance arise . This is a shameful bend of events since Superman is usually the hero and while he does finish the xenomorphs on the dependency once everyone is dead , he could ’ve preserve more multitude by involve the xenomorph more seriously . Not all threat can be neutralise without deadly military force . While employing a " no kill " linguistic rule can be a great means tolimit Superman ’s power to actin many stories , him using it in theAliencrossover was one of his bad decision . Instead of being a lawful astronomical hero , Supermanlet killer alien head for the hills amok and kill near everyone in their way .
