Shazam ’s powers are on the fritz ; they bomb him during a fight with Chemo alongside his fellow Titan Academy schoolfellow . The Wizard is nowhere to be found , and readers learn that Billy has not talk with Mary , Freddy and the eternal rest of the family in a while ; Billy has missed calls and texts from Freddy . On top of all this , Billy is becoming withdrawn and remote . He is the mucilage that holds the Shazam Family together , and without him , they are shatter . Time will tell if Billy is able toreconcile with Maryand the rest , but chances are he is going to postulate them if he wants to find his powers and set things good . sept is an integral part of the Shazam mythos , but now , at the worst possible time , theShazamFamily is falling aside .
