In the latest government issue ofSuicide Squad , Task Force X look Marvel’sThunderbolts … or at least DC ’s reading of them . Having been sent by Director Amanda Waller the Suicide Squad has ventured to Earth-8 to be tested , first face theRetalitators ( DC ’s transcript of the Avengers ) . However , it ’s not the good guys who are the lawful scourge to Task Force X. Rather , it ’s the bad guy rope like the Suicide Squad themselves who may prove to be the real threat to Waller ’s team .
In previous issues ofSuicide Squad , Amanda Waller has been using Task Force X to prepare for a new mission with a squad she ’s intend to call her Justice Squad . Tired of the primary Earth-0 and its obstacles such as morality , Waller is looking to take over the much dark Earth-3 , free it from the oppression of the Crime Syndicate and believe that the world is so broken they wo n’t mind whatever tactic and questionable methods she uses to make it bump . Now , Suicide Squad # 11from Robbie Thompson , Dennis Hopeless , Eduardo Pansica , Julio Ferreira , Dexter Soy , Marcelo Maiolo , and Dave Sharpe bring out that Waller has one last missionary work for her Squad before the big multiversal move .

For this last mission , Waller has send her Suicide Squad to Earth-8 to test their resolution . While the Retaliators admit American Crusader , Machinehead , and Behemoth ( versions of Captain America , Iron Man , and Hulk ) were all easily dealt with by Task Force X , their true challenge is bring out to be the Lightning Strikes , DC ’s combining weight to Marvel ’s Thunderbolts . Interestingly enough , the actual Thunderbolts themselvesare an equivalent to the Suicide Squad , being a governance - streamlet squad of supervillains in the Marvel Universe just like Task Force X.
feature counterpart to Marvel ’s Man - Thing , Deadpool , Red Hulk , and more , it looks as though the Suicide Squad is going to have to ticktack down the Lightning Strikes before they can return home to Earth-0.Amanda Waller is merciless , and that ’s exactly what she ’s looking for in her Squad to see if they have what it takes if she ’s to take them along with her to Earth-3 . As such , it ’s going to be middling entertaining to see the Squad prove their worth against DC ’s version of their Marvel rivals .
As Waller get ever close to the upcomingWar for Earth-3event , it ’s pass to be interesting to see which fellow member of her Squad she ’ll be take up with her . However , Rick Flag is shut in with his own Squad he ’s assembled to take her down featuring the the like of Peacemaker , Bloodsport , and more . With Waller’sSuicide Squadcurrently officious fight back the DC counterparts to theThunderbolts , who knows how the Task Force X director will fare in the issues to come ?
