In DC Comics’Suicide Squad : Bad Bloodthe antihero squad is join by theShark , a classic villain who quickly seek to be much more menacing and sadistic than Suicide Squad ’s resident man - eaterKing Shark . King Shark is nowhere to be pick up in the current run ofSuicide Squadand has seemingly been replaced by Karshon , who was first introduced inGreen Lantern # 24way back in 1963 . InBad Bloodappearance , when Karshon brutally kills an international terrorist named Scale , his full ferocity is on showing , but it is what he does to Scale ’s matching brother , Fin , thatelevates him past King Shark ’s violenceand puts him in the class of true evil .
Karshon , the Shark , is a mutated tiger shark that uprise from deep within the ocean with a herculean aquatic body and strong psionic magnate . InSuicide Squad : Bad Blood # 1the team is tasked by Amanda Waller with neutralizing an international mobile phone of super - terrorists shout out themselves The Revolutionaries . After bloodily defeat much of the terrorist cadre , the Suicide Squad is shocked to hear that the surviving terrorists will bejoiningtheir team as teammates , whichclearly puts a mental strain on all members of the police squad .

Suicide Squad : Bad Blood # 1 , from writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo , sees Karshon the Shark sharply kill the aquatic terrorist Scale , and having a right time doing so . By the end of the issue , Fin , the twin chum of Scale , is forced to join the Suicide Squad and crusade alongside his brother ’s murderer . The tension between the two trail to a psionic showdown in which the Shark torment Fin with sight of his brother being kill . While King Shark is known , and beloved , for his downcast intellect and on the face of it zany murder sprees , it is clear that theShark does not share King ’s wholesome personality , alternatively swear on wanton barbarity and torture to get his way with both enemies and teammates .
Not only does Karshon wedge Fin to watch his brother ’s last all over again , but the Shark is seemingly gleeful when psionically divvy up his experience of terminate Scale ’s life . This is where the biggest departure between the Shark and King Shark is made well-defined . King Shark obliterate and eats multitude becausehe is a shark , whereas the Shark actively goes after heroes and villains alike to becausehe enjoys doing it . King Shark has some possible action at redemption , as he has been show in the yesteryear to be able to conform and change his murderous behavior . Karshon , on the other hand , is all business organisation , and clearly has no interest in moderate his violent desire .
The Shark ’s horrible execution of Scale , and subsequent sadistic torturing of his brother Fin , chop-chop come back to sting him . InSuicide Squad : defective Blood # 3Fin betrays his " teammate " and use his power to telepathically control aquatic life to summon a swarm of shark that well overpower and devour Karshon . While theSharkwill most belike not be joining in on any future Suicide Squad missionary station , it is clear that Karshon reigns sovereign as theSquad’s"most vicious shark . "
