It clearly contains Sheikah architecture , but whether the castle or the Sheikah portions came first is uncertain . This could be where the technological part of Ganon ’s dead body come from , which raises the question of what they were doing there and what the previous inhabitants of the palace were using them for .
The room looks like it could be a laboratory , or perhaps where King Rhoam and his research worker put in old Sheikah pieces before the Great Calamity . According toBOTW ’s traditional knowledge , the Sheikah create the Guardians , which the Hyrule royal family line studied extensively leading up to Ganon ’s rise . It makes sense that they would have Sheikah technical school somewhere in the castling , but the purpose of the flooring and mural stiff shrouded in mystery . It ’s possible that the way is connected to how the castle is floating inBOTW 2 ’s trailer , and that it help as a control condition center of some sorts . If so , it could also be how other locations are flying and therefore be a major part ofBreath of the Wild 2 ’s story . It ’s also possible that they ’re ancient ruins , perhaps ones connected to the burrow system where Link and Zelda find the mummified figure and Link ’s new arm . Whatever the room ’s purpose , hopefullyTheLegend of Zelda : breather of the Wild ’s sequel will explicate it in full and shed some light on one of the least - understand areas of the secret plan .
